Special Member Links - Your Friends, Your Discussions, Your Groups, Your Photos, Your Videos

How to add special member links, so your members can access their "content" quickly.

You can add these links anywhere you want. I like to add them to submenu tabs, under "My Page" or "My Profile"

Go to:
My Network/Settings/Tabs & Pages
Add a sub-tab for each item you want to add to your Ning Network.

I like this setup for each sub-tab option:
1. Make this a sub-tab
2. Make Visible to Members

Here are the titles and links: Add the link next to - "Use Existing URL"

Your Blog
/profiles/blog/list?my=1

Your Events

/events/event/listUserEvents

Your Friends
/profiles/friend/list?my=1

Your Discussions
/forum/topic/listForContributor

Your Groups
/groups/group/listForContributor

Your Photos
/photo/photo/listForContributor

Your Videos
/video/video/listForContributor

STEPS ON ADDING SUB-TABS:

Go to Tab Manager.
In left column, click on +Add New Tab.
In right column, enter "Tab Name". (i.e. Your Videos)
Check the box next to: "Make this a sub-tab"
Next to Target Page, select "Use Existing URL".
Next to "Use Existing URL", enter your link. (i.e. /video/video/listForContributor)
Next to "Make Tab Visible To", select Members. (this is your choice)
In left column at bottom, you will see your new sub-tab.
Grab it and drag UNDER the main menu tab, where it should reside. (i.e. My Page)
In bottom right, click on Save Tab Settings.

This did not translate well, so not sure what you need, sorry. You can add any subtab with links via My Network/Settings/Tabs & Pages (this just changed recently).

Another one I have that someone may want to add is a subtab for "My Likes" /profiles/like/list?. If you don't use the word like, change to match your network.

GirlRiders, this a cool one,

unfortunately it shows only the likes that i gave to others, could be more cool to find the url(link) that show the likes i get from the others. That would be great for my members.
