Note, if you do this in a social bar, it will continuously load, this will cause every page to never complete loading, kinda sucks but yay, flash chat! We had this in our bar and tracked it down after months of chasing it, then removed it. I guess we didn't want to realize we needed to remove it because it was nice having it there.

I tried this on a non-ning site of mine and I get the message, "Our apologies. Chat is not enabled in this network.".
How do I make it enable?

Does it work on your network?

First ensure it is. Go to your dashboard, followed by features layout. Grab the chat, and put it somewhere on your page.

This will enable the chat. If you don't like how it looks, you have to option of simply clicking features, which is directly under features layout. This will allow you to put the chat into a toolbar.

Also remember, if you put this on a non ning site, it will prompt people to signup on your network
