Clearing Ning Cache no longer works!
Fire-Tech has shared with us:
"Ning stopped allowing us to do this. I submitted a ticket after it wouldn't work anymore for me and they said they stopped it for security reasons."
THIS TIP NO LONGER WORKS. HOWEVER, YOU MAY FIND THIS INFORMATION USEFUL:
In the past hard refresh didn't help much, since it took time for Ning's servers to catch up. I find in the past year, Ning seems to be updating quicker. And hard refresh will update your browser on your computer.
On implementing "hard refresh" it depends on your browser and Operating System, but basically all the same. I use Windows and FireFox for my main browser. I click CTRL (hold) + F5. I don't think Google Chrome has a hard refresh.
This excerpt from wisegeek.com may help:
To refresh a website normally, you hit the “refresh” button, or the F5 key, or press the command key for your operating system, such as the Apple key or the Ctrl (Control Key) and the letter R. To hard refresh, the command or control key is held down while clicking on the refresh button or pressing F5. Alternatively, the user can hold down the shift key, the command/control key, and the letter R. A hard refresh will bypass any cached files and display the web page as it currently appears on the server.

Clearing Your Ning Cache
Often, when you make changes on your Ning Network, you will not see your most recent changes, unless you clear the Ning Cache. This is especially true when you make a change, and sign-out. It takes approximately 20 minutes for the cache to clear and show your new changes. * See Cache definition below.
The quick way to make your new changes show up, is to clear the cache:
1. Log into your social network as the Network Creator
2. Clear the cache by visiting http://examplenetwork.ning.com/lib/scripts/invalidateCache.php
After you clear the Cache, you should receive the following message:
✔ XN cache invalidated
If you do not receive this message, you are probably not signed in as Creator. This is a requirement.
* What is Cache? This cache has nothing to do with your local Browser cache or cookies. This is the cache for your Ning Network files, like CSS, images, settings, etc... To my knowledge, Ning's cache is what I call server-side cache, not client side (your computer). To "Cache", stores the data in a temporary high-speed location, and then builds the output using the cached files.

Jen this is what I get
I also did add the www. as well same result
Hi COTGW,
You have an extra / before lib. However, I tried this too, and it no longer works for me - - guess I better delete this tip. It's an old tip, and sorry for this. I would either write Ning to see if they still offer a URL to clear cache to update their EDITs (be sure to make that clear), or I would Google "hard refresh". In the past hard refresh didn't help much, since it took time for Ning's servers to catch up. I find in the past year, Ning seems to be updating quicker. And hard refresh will update your browser on your computer.

Hope that helps,
