Is Social Media a Fad?

"thought provoking" As you said however i also am rooting thru my reading material to find an equally thought provoking part of this social online storyboard ;(failing that i will proceed to express my recollection of the spoken of material) ; It had to do with the fact that although there is a markedly upward trend in social sites joining there is an equally disturbing fact being overlooked. And that is the shock of realizing that joining also comes with expectations , when the dust settles and the new social site wonderer realizes that all those new sites now need regular updates and maintenance the shine fades real fast for most of the "fad followers" !
