Thank you for sharing. Made me tear up. I think of my Dad all day, it's hard. He was a WWII Veteran. He saw terrible things, and only spoke of them on his death bed. I miss so much. He was my hero.

Thank you! It's a very special day for me and my family too. My Dad was in WWII, and was a very proud soldier. We lost him to Cancer 3 years ago. Life will never be the same without him, truly my hero. I used to take him across country, to his Army Reunions. He always enjoyed them so, seeing his old buddies and all. He never really spoke of the War though, until a week before he passed. He shared so many stories with me and my little Brother - - stories I will never forget. This is probably more than you would ever care to hear or see, LOL. But, I'm very proud of my Father. ;-)



Here we are almost 20 years ago.
