Slide Show Player

I would really like to change the default slide show player to include more info like photo name and description. I would also like it to be bigger. Has anyone customized their slide show player or used another slide show player?

Hi Neil,

I don't know of a way to customize the built-in photo slider, except the size. That can be accomplished by using the "embed code" and changing the dimensions. I can say with confidence, I don't think there is a way to customize it, because it's rendered as a flash object. Notice, lol, I never say never. But really believe that's the case on this one.

I will add it to the Ning Wish list. I will be in Palo Alto this summer and maybe I can catch someone's ear. I know exactly where they are because Ning is HQ'ed where I used to work at 285 Hamiton!

Cool. You should try to show interest for the NC Council. I'm not sure how they choose members, but I've enjoyed being a member. They have a Summit a couple times a year where they invite the newest Council members out. I hope someday they invite us all at one time.
