Creating a Page with Expanding and Collapsing Bullet point lists

Hello!

 

I'm looking to create a page on my site that has headers with expanding and collapsing bullet points for each header, linking to various forum discussions. This is for a new network where a lot of the content will be produced by me and I would like to be able to organize it into an easy to follow format. 

 

I did some Google searching for various javascript codes but am likely implementing it wrong. 

 

Do you know how to make this idea happen?

Sandra,

I've written collapsible DIVs for sites other than Ning, and don't know this minute where the code is located on my computers. You should be able to do this with jQuery, CSS, and little HTML. I would search on things like "toggle DIV", "toggle content", etc... If I see an easy one with good instructions, I'll sure share. I would start on http://www.dynamicdrive.com
