comments on latest activity & general commenting

I'm suret this must have been asked somewhere. I'm new to all this so I'm not sure. But is there a way to comment on member's latest activity right on the home page. That would make my network so much more active AND it would keep comments kind of more organized.

How come I go see a comment one member left me and that member's comment is on top BUT I see all the comments anyone has ever left me. what if I just want that member's comment.

Is there a way to add friends right from the thumbnail in "all members" or I HAVE to go into each profile and add them?

I'm going to try and post this on Ning's page for product suggestions....as soon as I figure out where it is...lol..God bless everyone.

No unfortunately, you can't comment on home page. I do believe Ning will add this type of functionality, at least for the Status updates, in the future.

All comments from day one will be saved to your profile page. You just need to delete the others if you don't want them to be shown.

Good question on friending - - You have to go to each profile to add friends. In the past I think we could do it from the member list page. I think this too is in the works, for a future feature.

Mm i believe TJ at http://jqueryhelp.ning.com/ is making a latest-activity comment thing, but it's in the development, you can join his site :) and look at the codes :). I believe it's not out right now, he will released it as soon as he finish it :3
