Question:
Don't these files need to be saved to a hard drive, and uploaded via a blog, and use the blog path, instead? Or for people who have server space, added to their own servers? In other words, doesn't the person utilizing the cursor files need to host them?

no need to upload cursor file
just go to this link http://www.cursors-4u.com/
choose which cursor u like then copy all the codes
paste into a notepad and find a file cursor link (files*.cur)

body, a, a:hover {cursor: url(http://cur.cursors-4u.net/smilies/smi-1/smi57.cur), progress;}

copy from http://cur.cursors-4u.net/smilies/smi-1/smi57.cur
and then replace the codes that all

Thanks for clarifying. For me, custom cursors make me crazy. But, this is a nice tip for a lot of people, especially for younger generation sites like games and anime sites.

I didn't even know without looking into cursors, if a physical file is involved. Thanks, you taught me something tonight. I just wanted to make sure there were no files that needed to be hosted. A lot of people bog down other servers, not realizing they need to host their own files.
