Happy Thanksgiving! What Are You Thankful For This Thanksgiving?

It's almost Thanksgiving!

I don't know how you feel about giving thanks. For me, no matter what life brings, and it can be tough - - I always have many things to be thankful for - - from having the privilege of living in a Country where Freedom is abound (but not free), being thankful that my Sister who was recently diagnosed with leukemia is in remission (more thankful for this than words can express!), thankful for having a roof over my head, clean and hot water, food, clothing, large wonderful family, great friends, my little doggie: Jazzi, a business and job I enjoy, a creative mind, and the list goes on. I'm thankful for all the great fellow Network Creators I have met on and offline, the past several years. =)

Whatever your beliefs or religions, take time to be thankful. For me personally, I thank God for all I have. If you have no one to thank, then be a Giver.

Give the Gift of Self

Buy someone in need a good warm meal. If you don't have family or friends who live close, don't sit home alone. Go to your local Church, Soup Kitchen or Homeless Shelter. Volunteer to help serve the homeless. Or, maybe you have a neighbor who has no family, a shut-in who can't get out. Take them a good Thanksgiving meal. It will make your day.

Texting

Maybe you have a friend you haven't reached out to in a while. Send them a text. I've found this is a great way to rekindle old friendships. =) It breaks the ice, and opens the door for new conversation.

Take the Leap!

If you haven't seen your family or a friend in a while, maybe estranged from a family member, a long lost friend - -  take the leap. Pick up the phone and mend fences. What do you have to lose? Don't let another day go by. Just do it.
