About Website: Writing Buddies was originally set up as an MSN Group more than 10 years ago with the aim of offering people with a passion for writing the chance to have their work assessed and get together with other 'like-minded' people.

We were the first online group to set up a 'Buddy System' whereby individuals could pair up with a 'mentor' and receive coaching on their work. The results were amazing with many members going on to become published in one form or another and the group received continual praise for it's efforts, mustering together over 800 members in it's heyday.

Unfortunately Writing Buddies was 'hacked' into and taken over by idiots who destroyed the set-up, deleted work and sent foul messages to some of the members. MSN were unable to retrieve the work and with all the membership deleted we had no choice but to start again on a smaller scale. Things were going OK until MSN then decided to close it's groups. Everything got moved over to Multiply but that concept was not at all suitable for our purposes. A brand new 'stand-alone' WEBSITE was created and this new 'social network' is part of that set up.

We hope that you enjoy yourself here and make new friends - If you want to submit work then feel free to do so via one of the groups we have set up. If you want to set up a group of your own then please go ahead and make sure you invite people along to participate - Have fun!
