- One of the original medical social networks built on the Ning platform. Started in 2008 by urologist Arnon Krongrad, MD and then moved over under the umbrella of the not-for-profit Prostate Cancer International. As of 2011, the network has 3,000 members and climbing. More recently, Dr. Krongrad has developed a similar network for chronic prostatitis, another major prostate disease and for which there are very few knowledge sharing forums. As of 2011, there are less than 200 members and the hope is that with time more will join.
