Not yet, for me. Kind of a scary step. At this point we don't NEED the design studio for the most part, but it sure is nice for newbies. Heres a ning site that I AM working with the design studio on. (probably will be messy-still working on it) http://sociallyglobal.ning.com

Honestly, not sure yet. As things break, I'll try to fix them when time allows. I will be spending most of my time adding tips and offering support in the Premium group, since I won't be able to adequately support both systems. Don't get me wrong though. I will help everyone, everywhere I can.

Let me know if something breaks. Add to original tip or create new discussion under support group, and I should see it.

I have a question folks, once we accept the new change which I haven't as of yet, can members change their background or not.  On a small community I have, I did do the change over just to see what it is all about, but upon checking to see if I can change my personal background I see I cannot.  Now its been brought to my attention that the members will be able to change their personal profile page for Creators who pay top price, is this true?

Currently if you make the switch, the member profile pages are set to the site look. As far as having to pay for this feature in the future, I haven't heard anything on that.

 

I believe Ning is working to make this possible (customizable member profiles) in the future - - 99% sure about that. That's what I read straight from Ning, on Ning Creators.

Thanks for the kind words. I hope Ning allows us to stay on the old as long as we want. I'll be honest though: I fear they will someday come up with a reason why we have to move - - but hopefully not.
