Bijay Kumar Sahoo is the founder director of one of the youngest organizations working in the field of Gotipua Dance. In this dance form, young boys are dressed up as girls and they perform on various traditional songs and dances. As the style requires strenuous exercises and difficult body positioning, the students have to follow a rigorous routine to keep themselves fit and supple. The students of the Nakshyatra Gurukul perform at various celebratory events and annual functions. Bijay is also a classical dancer himself and a fabulous choreographer himself!
