Isn't it interesting with the untimely passing of Micheal Jackson that we became aware of the value of past recordings. As much as most of us have now up-dated our collections to Cd or MP3 and more then likely gave away our older vinyls they are now a sort after collectible. Whether it's because some of these recordings are not available on CD, or because cover art for older Vinyl records seem to be more involved and visually interesting, or is it that these records can be used for segments and sliced into more modern day music, its hard to deny that just about anything has it's come back.
Personally I loved the covers of older vinyl records, the artwork as it reflects the years where there appeared to be more experimentation and the size of an Album cover allowed for greater detail.
Yes you still have some fantastic cover art for CD's , but more an more people are buying downloading their music and missing out on the experience a Vinyl record gave a fan.
