The Research Cooperative was established in 2001 as an international, not-for-profit organisation (NPO).

Our mission is to support academic, scientific, and popular research communication in all subjects, languages, and media. We are researchers, research students, science writers, technical communicators, academic editors, translators, illustrators, reviewers, publishers, and others involved in original research-based writing and publishing.
