Spider View - Awesome Tool (New Links)

Spider View - SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Tool
Update: 8/6/2012 - It appears that the Spider View Tool previously offered on JenSocial no longer works. Since Google changed the way their bots are working, most of the spider tools are no longer working.

Spider View Links - I found these 2 that seem to be working properly:

ahhh, I see now. Since Google changed the way their bots are working, most of the spider tools no longer work! I found these 2 that seem to be working properly:

Dave,

I guess I have to bite the bullet and remove the links. I love those apps. But, seems I get more and more complaints that they are not working. I think those servers get overloaded. So sorry for the inconvenience. I tried from their site directly, and page won't load.

Thanks for reporting this,

Jen

Hey Bob,
This tool is working well. This is what a spider will pick up - - the method and patterns. When I enter our site URL and the word Directory, it shows me a snapshot (so to speak), of what a spider would pick up on this site, in relation to the keyword "Directory". I see the word in:
Site Title
Our site Description
Menu Tabs
Latest Activity
etc...

The words are all running together, yes. This is literally how a spider picks up the snapshot. Basically, it's showing you what's showing up first on your main page. For example, let's say I had an important paragraph inserted in a Ning text box. And, I have that text box at bottom right corner of my main page. It's likely that most "quick" spiders will not pick it up. Quick spider runs are executed more frequently. So, if I did not see that paragraph here, I would probably move my box.

Pledging for Change,
I'm sorry I didn't see this until now. Since it's a page, I don't get notifications when someone leaves a comment.

It comes up for me 2 times - - but it should come up more, since this is one of your primary keyword combos.

I would suggest adding a tag cloud with ethical networking and your other keywords. Also, add tag links at the bottom of your page in your Footer - - see example here at bottom. As long as you don't leave too many duplicate tags, you're safe with Google. Otherwise, considered stuffing and can hurt your indexing.

Also, and be careful with this one too on the "stuffing" - - within reason, leave ethical networking in image tags as the alt text. This helps a lot on Google indexing.
Best to you,
Jen
P.S. I'll leave this on your page here, too.

Very good but I was shocked that "ethical networking" showed up 0 times. I have it in my keywords for my site so I'm confused a bit now
