Like GirlRiders, I thought the question was about Ning.com not our networks.
I was very disappointed with the new Ning.com. I used to go there looking for new networks. Now it's a central profile page with Ning recommended sites that are totally of no interest. The search is dysfunctional. I go there just to delete it's content once a week.
I give it a ZERO.
I told all my members to go there and sign in. They were equally disappointed. Some have even changed their screen name for security.
How can an NC make his/her profile Private? I would be suspicious of an NC with a Private profile.
I've been on Ning for over 2 years, it was great for the first 20 months.

I don't like the ning.com. For many reasons. Ning itself has bad press. I looked at how it ranks in terms of social networks. All the ratings even about ning.com say the same thing. Its not good. Recently I have been spammed up the woozoo, with phishing email scams, and an infestation of spam emails from networks across the ning platform.

The new ning, has opened itself up to spam. I can't delete the thrux of emails on ning.com. I had to make my profile private otherwise, I would have even more spam, and money scam emails comming directly from, yes ning.com and new spam members.

I don't like ning.com. If they want to have it that way they need to create a spam filter. Be an original. I hate the chat so we use a php chat client for my one network and webchattr for the other one as it doesn't crash, and I don't need Tiny Elvis to point to the smileys on the chat itself or the text. Plus membership died down for me with the new ning.com.

ok I dont know if this is where to post it but I think the chatrooms would be better if there was an indication that someone was typing in the chatroom. even tho they online no one ever knows when they in the chatroom. so far ok im gonna stop now hehehe

I really like the new face of ning. It makes managing my networks more convenient and not so time consuming. Also it helps with really finding new friends and exploring new networks. Good job NING. Now yall just have to add some more features like an ARCADE so my network can be even cooler. thanks bunches hehehehe

I agree with you on the chat. The new chat is not engaging enough, and too slow yet. I do know that the Ning Support Team is working hard to make it better and better. And, for the record, I want to make sure you know that I'm just another Network Creator, just like you. I just happen to have made it my passion and business to promote all Ning Networks. Thank you so much for your input. I think Ning will appreciate our thoughts and concerns. I will put a bird in their ear, when we get enough votes. Not, that anything can change, but at least they'll know our thoughts - - and maybe take it into consideration for future platform development.

I love everything but the way you made the chat room and half of the members on all 3 of my sites say the same thing and i have many website creators that say they want the old chat back and so do I, too bad those of us that want it back to the old way cant have it, so many of us found a chat online simular to it and placed it on our sites (sorry), but other than that i love verything else, blessed be, snow wolf
