hmm. i clicked "like" and it shows "my name likes this", but reads "error" in red lettering beside it.

don't know where to put their tag. tried analytics, but they say verification failed.

Take the code in the 2nd box with the < around it, click on the manage tab then analytics...put the code there and save it.

As far as I knew, this was a web service that you visit, and not add to your site. I'll have to look at that, LOL. I just liked the stats provided from their site, about other sites.

Okay, here's the deal. It's take a while for the Ning Analytics Box to "catch up", sometimes. I ran the invalidate cache URL, and mine worked. I'm sure you know, but in case - - you must be signed in as Creator to run this URL.
http://yourning.com/lib/scripts/invalidateCache.php

Then, as Tom stated, be sure to add the code from the "Insert HTML Code" drop down option. Also, be sure to grab the entire code, including the beginning < all the way to the ending >.
