I have been using Jing, the free version for over a year or two. It does the same thing. A little sun symbol appears at the top of your desktop and stays there so you can grab anything you like, also allows you to write on the item, use arrows etc. I just tried the firebox screengrab, but it appears that, you only can use it, when firefox is open. I use John's backround switcher to bring pics down about the subjects I am interested in, screengrab the portion of the pic, I like, write my copy and send it back to one of my blogs or sites.

I have both, lol. I just thought this one was easy-breezy. But, think we should encourage jing too.
