Share a Piece of Content with all members of your social network (by http://help.ning.com)

A lot of you probably know about this Ning Network feature. I noticed it, but paid no attention to it. ;-) I think this is a great way to get your members more involved, in addition to the Event invitation feature.

Share a piece of content with all members of your social network.

As the Network Creator or Administrator, you can use the share feature to share a photo, video, discussion, blog post, or member profile with all members of your social network with just a few clicks. It's a great way to quickly let all members know about a special piece of content on your social network, and to keep them coming back.

When you share something with members, they'll receive an email to their email inbox with a nicely formatted message, including links to the piece of content you shared.

To share a photo, video, discussion, blog post, or member profile with all members of your social network, head to that item's page and click the "Share" link. In the box that pops up, click the "More Options" link.

Select the option to "Share with all members" and include an optional message.

Yes, l know about this and l use it some times. l guess there are many ways to use this feature. l do not know them all yet, but it is a great thing to have.

This is an INCREDIBLE FIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had NO idea what this little "share" link could do for me!

I have over 300 friends on my site and sending a message to them is a BIG pain, because you can only sent 200 at a time. Then I have to send another one and click off each individual member box in the message area!

With THIS, I can bulk send my updates to all 310 of my members to their personal emails!!! It's an amazing find!

The only drawback is if your friends have disabled their email alerts. Then they wouldn't get the email at all.

The share button is amazing. It actually took me a year or so to realize it's power.

Sorry Justin,

There is no discussion tip for that feature. It's from outbrain, and I'm testing here and on another site. It takes special scripting to install, and I charge a fee for the installation.
