... as an alternative you can add the script of the attachment below in to the analytics box but notice if your network has private groups you have to remove it for a moment to approve new members in these private groups. It is a little unpracticabel maybe but I use it for my network and each link open in a new window ... just the new IE 8 doesn't support this script.

If you do not like this issue that members who created a private group and that they have to ask you each time to remove the script from the network for a while you can use this additional script that a RSS Feed link and website link on member profiles open in a new window.

I cheated...lol...I got news, sports & weather widgets and put them on their own page. Till I fully figure this out..its a quick fix...I know simply silly but hey it works for now..I do have rss feeds. I couldn't get them to read right..so I found the rss feed I wanted and copied the url and then pasted it in the rss box...and whala! it worked...
