How To Add Subtab for the Ning "My Likes" Page

Course, only I wouldn't know this. LOL. Kris and Michael on Ning's Creator site showed me the way. :-)

 

If you have the "Ning Like" feature enabled on your Ning Network, your Members can see their list of "likes" or "favorites" from their Profile Page. You can name "Likes" whatever you want to name it.



To add a convenient subtab for your Members, so they can quickly access their "My Likes" or "My Favorites" page, follow these steps:

  1. Go to: My Network/Settings/Tabs
  2. Add a new subtab by clicking on + Add New Tab (top left)
  3. In right column under Tab Information:
    • Next to Tab Name, name your tab something like My Favorites or Your Favorites.
    • Click check box marked: Make this a sub-tab.
    • Next to Use Existing URL: Add this link: /profiles/like/list?my=1
    • Choose who you would like to Make Tab Visible To
  4. In left column, drag and drop the new subtab to your location of choice.
  5. Click on Save.

LOL, kinda bothers me that I don't remember it. It'll probably hit me, when the mind is clear. hahaha

I think I probably do post a few things close to a sleep state!
