I've been offering pixlr Editor for images and photos for a while within my Toolbar. It dawned on me, what a great tip to share with fellow NCs! If you don't have Photoshop and want to use the Editor for your own editing purposes, this is a great online tool. And, it's free!

I'm not sure how the Thumblizr works and what it's for.  Also, am I okay with posting this comment here or am I suppose to go somewhere else.  Please point me in the right direction ... sorry ....

Yes, perfect place to comment, below the tip. ;-)

Thumblizr is a nice tool to create a thumbnail of a website. Let's say you wanted to advertise for someone, or just suggest their website to your site visitors; you could use thumblizr to create a thumbnail screenshot of their website. Then the thumbnail image can be saved and used for this purpose.

Hope that helps,

Jen

Got it and thanks!  It definitely helps!!!!

Hi Jen,

great tools. I'm saving this page in my favs.

But ... the Image Rounded Corners link doesn't work.

Sorry to hear the link isn't working. It's working on my side, so not sure what to change. Thinking...

Thanks for the feedback,

Jen

Hi Jen...what does it meant to "create a new page" on our Ning site?

Hi Broom Riders,

I can't remember if the different plans are limited on creating pages. I think just plus and pro make this feature available. Go to: http://yourning/page and click on ADD. Then, click on the HTML button similar to a text box, and add your code.

Let me know if I didn't give enough steps.

Best,
Jen

Thank you Jen!

Nice, quick, easy and useful!  Thanks!

Since my members may not be as computer savy as the ones here.  I added this note above the editor:

Tip: To edit a copy of a photo already loaded onto GirlRiders: 1. Find the photo 2. Click "View Full Size" 3. Copy the URL from the address 4. Click open image from URL in editor below. 5. Paste code and click open. Remember, after you created your masterpiece, be sure and upload it to GirlRiders!

Happy you liked the tip!

Your instructions are extremely handy, and well written. Thank you for sharing!

Best,

Jen

Thanks for the good tip! I use photoshop ALL the time and this is awesome my members can do some editing themselves now! :)

I added a third one.... the Pixlr O Matic

I just changed the web address and it looks like this:

<div align="center"><iframe src="http://pixlr.com/o-matic/" frameborder="0" height="700" width="955" scrolling="auto"></iframe></div>

This one is really fun and different too!
