Sweet little tip!
Add a "Follow Us on Twitter" Badge, to the left or right side of your site.
Go here and create your code:
http://www.go2web20.net/twitterFollowBadge/

  • You will enter your Twitter Account (Twitter Team Members: Feel free to add ours if you don't have your own. NingTweets)
  • You can change colors
  • You can change the "text"!

After you create your code, do the following:
  • Go to Manage/Analytics Box
  • Paste your code into the Analytics Box
  • DONE!

Enjoy!

Easy as 1 2 3 thanks
If you have room in your Analytics box, it should not interfere. At least I don't think so. And, I don't know that it's better, just easy access to Visitors and nice looking.

thx for the info.
will this interfere w/ the scrolling marquee im already running in analytics ?
is this somehow better than the personal badge which twitter has always provided ? im running it in a text box (as you've suggested here )
thx much
happy
I removed the extra tip about adding code to text box, if not enough room in Analytics box. I am getting errors in IE, if added to text box.
Happy,
I sent you a private email. I am receiving errors when in text box - - in IE. When in Analytics Box, it's running very smoothly.
Best,
Jen

it's great looking but it won't work with my IE browser :(
Hey, This works great. and the instruction was easy. Thank you. l shall call you "Miss Brains".
LOL! Glad you like it! Keep a watch on it. This is pulling external code. But, I checked out the site providing this service, and it looks like it's here for the long haul.

So far, it's working great for myself and colleagues. But, only if it's installed in the Analytics box. I did have issues in IE on one site where I had added it in a text box. At first, we thought it would work okay in a text box. Then we realized it wasn't in IE. Wish I knew something else to help. Oh wait - - I remember reading this specifically: it will not work in IE 6.0. If you happen to have 6.0, just upgrade. That's a fairly out of date version.
