Okay you found the right place to question ,

First of all the verify issue , when a person sign up your wall.fm website , that person need to go to their email and click the LINK inside the email sent by your wall.fm website(automatically) , if the member can't find the email , it should be in the SPAM INBOX/JUNK INBOX of their mailbox.

Secondly , normal website's CSS code can't work on wall.fm , each platform has it own unique elements .

So , you will need to code it yourself using the elements of wall.fm website .

You can use Google Chrome , right click an element (for example , the menu) and click INSPECT ELEMENT , it will shows that element HTML and CSS code which is ( <ul class="ow_main_menu clearfix"> )

You can use the .ow_main_menu to edit in CSS . Wall.fm had prepared the full CSS code in their wall.fm admin CSS edit panel , just refer to it and edit the things you like .

YOU MUST FOLLOW THE ELEMENTS BUT YOU CAN EDIT THE CSS SETTINGS BELOW THE ELEMENTS .

Hope you understand , if you have more questions , feel free to ask .

Nice day ,

Elson.

thank you Elson..^^

uhm i want to connect my wall.fm to facebook

but it ask there the API key and application  secret...

uhm what is that two?

what should i put there to connect my wall.fm in facebook?

~abbychii

You need to go to developers.facebook.com , and create an Application it will give you an API key . But i'm not so sure about the procedures , there will be a tutorial prepared by Facebook to help you . It should be in the DOCUMENTATION tab .

Nice day .

uhm one more question..

what should i do to put an image/logo on my URL

and i wanted to add up in my wall.fm something like this

What shoul i do to add this stuff to my wall.fm

~abbychii

1. If you want to put a logo to your wall.fm site , you just go to Admin > Appearance > Edit Theme > General Settings > then upload to "Logo Settings"

2.That BAR is called Wibiya bar . Currently you cannot add something like that into your Wall.fm website because Wall.fm don't have Custom Code system like Ning do . BUT , you can add a Plugin prepared by Wall.fm called "Meebo bar" its quite similar to Wibiya but it lacks many features .

Nice day .

As a developer, ex ning and now wall.fm I realized the problem concerning CSS code plus the problem that newbie developers had in developing community site's I was in the learning stage of developing myself and found the whole process frustrating, though I have a history of software programming of yesteryear mainframes and for PC through up and till I retired in 2000. The problem was knowing the architecture of the software community builder. It no good playing with CSS code if you do not know what its really doing.

What I mean is having a support forum that people bandy code that may possibly work or does work for your needs and then one has to search through hundreds or thousands of threads to find a code that may or may not do the job. Then there is the problem with third party widgets many that may not work and those that freeze up your pages.

I decided because I had hours to burn and needed to keep my mind occupied whilst in retirement, to start a library of code and a step through help system for Wall and Oxwall developers. As in September last year I was completely frustrated looking for code and many other niggling things.

Hence I started development on Code.wall.fm that's actually gone beyond my original vision for a developers help community and a code and widget library.

Developers plus myself are now over riding some of walls limitations, such a floating menu's and bottom bars and the ability for user to change their backgrounds. Testing widgets and experimenting with ideas.

I really wished Code was around a lot earlier as I see the student with a problem on CSS would have not had such problems and could of learned about the architecture of Wall just by visiting the library at code.

I really think that there should be more working together by developers concerning any of these CSS products under open license and not just be the developing work horse for those companies that want to make money out of their projects. We can enjoy experimentation, my opinion because I really love what I do, not that I am an expert but need the challenge.
Wackwall is not the provider i would of picked...The best social builder that is free is webs because it uses elements of web design or you could try a social network creator thats free like socialgo...but i like Ning the best even that you have to pay, its on a trial for a month before you start paying and you can do the best custom jobs on ning as its fantastic.
I have tried them all JELLYNET and found them all to be flawed, plus felt very let down by ning. The reason I am developing on wall of whom did reward me when they went alph is because of the Oxwall product. It now gives me total access to the source code. Its on my server now and I can adapt it for my main project add my own plugins and even change the architecture to suit my needs.

Wall.fm will become the best social community builder one can buy, that is due to the fact the company actually listens to the developers and not to the money it can make. The fact one can do just what I am going to do and others have done even now gives the essence of the product. However only those that are willing to program in CSS and Java really have the benefit of the pudding.

Nope you can not sell me on any product that has restrictions such as Ning and Webs.

I spend my time paying back the privileges of having a life long ultimate plan on one of my sites by creating a library of code that can be used on Wall and Oxwall and a easy step through guide for newbies. What I really like about wall when they say free, it is free. When they say reward they reward. Ning made a very bad mistake at one time it was easy to apply your own code, they limited it, then they limited it more. Then that promise was broken to the developers. There was little reward.
