Greetings all!

It was Garfield on the "official Ning Creators Forum" who came up with the initial idea, and I thought: why not put it into action (wide and wicked grin)?!

It's all about Ning “Pro” members, who pay for having their support tickets replied to within 24 hours. In reality it often isn’t even within 24 days, so let’s hope for 24 weeks finally doing the job. Garfield wrote on the Ning Creators Forum:

“(…) My suggestion is to create a Ning Network regarding the wait on this ticket and make a contest where you have people bet on when it is going to be answered. If you do this I will be the first to join and I will email my other friends especially Ning Pro Members on Creators to join too. We will say you do this to Maxx you do it to all of us. I am sure by august 30th you’ll raise the 20 bucks to keep it going as a Ning Mini. I am on your side. (…)”

Well. it has been done! I just created Ningnongs and Ningcompoops as a part of my (non-Ning!) network, and when you have a look there you'll see that the contest is open! It will run until October 31, and the winner will then receive US$25, the second prize is $15 and the third prize will be $10. The prizes will be paid by myself via PayPal.

If I've set up everything the correct way (which I believe I did...) everybody can post in the relevant thread without any registering or stuff like that. So each and every Ning Network Creator has a chance to win a prize!

By the way: on account of me having been banned from the Creators Forum I can't post this message there. But I thought Jen's site to be the next best thing - in fact I think it the best thing!

Alright then. Go have a look, participate and... pass the message on!

Be well!

Jaap Verduijn.

LOL, you won't do. Hope you get a lot of responses.

BTW, I thought you left Creators. I didn't realize you were banned!

Good to see you,
Jen
Wait, I change my mind. I hope you don't get a lot of responses, DOH. I just realized I wished that a lot of NCs didn't get their support questions answered in a timely manner. And that is truly the last thing I would wish on someone who needs support.
Best,
Jen
Hi Jen!

Of course I understood how you meant it, no worries (wide grin)!

Yes, I was kicked off Creators as was, for example, Claude (calmansi). Celina has received a warning to stay off controversial subjects and is walking on eggs now...

Basically, Jen, when somebody suddenly goes missing from Creators, you can draw the conclusion that it's not of their own free will.

Did you ever visit my Nifty Network for Nice Niche Marketers? Apart from the "Ticket contest" there's also a forum with some threads about Ning. In contrast with Creators, people don't get (threatened with being) banned there, but still some are scared to speak their mind, fearing that Eric or any other Ning-compoop comes in, sees what's going on, and takes revenge by banning that person from Creators or even deleting their network.

It's become a reign of terror at Ning.

Be well!

Jaap.
Your last comment, I sure hope that's not true. My experiences have been mostly positive. But, I work on it.
