This is pretty typical, since Wibiya is a 3rd party to Ning. However, I should mention this. Once Ning enables members to join with open IDs, this will all work together, nicely.

 

If it makes you feel more comfortable to use the Ning chat, that's what I would do if I were you. I think a lot of people use the toolbar and remove the chat.

For now I think I just keep 2 chat rooms. One for visitors and one for members. They have chooses.
