Second Activity Feed

We have so much activity on our site that members status posts seem to fly by as other things are happening in our community. I'd like to add a second activity feed to the main page that just shows members status posts, but cant seem to figure out how, since the layout options only allow one activity feed. I know I can limit my current feed to just posts, but I really want a separate section that highlights these. Any suggestions? I appreciate your help!

I have a similar question, is it possible to show the activity feed in a  separate page?

I don't know of a way to show an activity feed in a separate page. You could iframe the home page, but it would show everything, and be a pretty good mess.
