position:absolute is not working

Hi,

I try to add a BING search to the NING Bar with <div style='position:absolute; top: 1px; right: 30px;'> but the attribute absolute seems not working.
Only <div style='position: fixed; top: 1px; right: 30px;'> works fine - just one point: I don't like that the search field scolls through each complete page. Has someone from you a tip for me what I can do to add a BING search instead of the NING search field? I know how to close this NING search in the NING bar - but not how to add instead of this a BING search.

I haven't tried this yet, sorry. If I do, I'll be sure to share.

On the absolute position not working, it's working for me so not sure about that.

I will try myself to find a solution. But I'll visit your wonderful site here to check out if you have found one.

By the way: NING sucks ... I received no email notifications and I reported this problem and they wrote me I should change the email address .... to receive constantly email notifications ...and this text editor ... I don't why it's not accepting my first reply here ....

and I can post my reply with some tricks here

Ning's not perfect , nothing is perfect , you can't blame all on them .

Sure behind the name NING are human beings who always try to give the best they can. I don't want to blame them. Why? But if things are not working proper, shall I be silent?

You possibly copied your reply from somewhere and pasted it in the text editor. If that is the case, always make sure you type something, even if it is a letter, each time you copied into the text box.

I thought Ning was not the best for me, so I moved my site to Social Engine. Now I know better because I have since moved my site back to Ning. I learned my lesson in a hard way. I pray you will appreciate what you have and see how you can join to make it better. Ning rocks!
