Hi Everyone,

I am trying to add this code into the html editor of a discussion or blog and it wont show or it will not show the image.

But if I add to a text box it shows.

Not sure what I am doing wrong. Here is the code:

<div class='ecwid-Product'><form>
<div style='text-align: center; padding-bottom: 10px;'><script type="text/javascript" src="http://app.ecwid.com/script.js?333055" charset="utf-8"></script><script type="text/javascript">xProductThumbnail('productid=3702630');</script></div>
<div class='ecwid-productBrowser-head' style='text-align: center; padding-bottom: 15px; font: normal 20px tahoma, geneva, verdana, sans-serif'>Crimson Kiss Altered art CD recycled wall hanging</div>
<div class="ecwid-productBrowser-price" style='text-align: center; padding-bottom: 15px'>$9.99</div>
<table align='center' border='0'><tr><td align='left' class='ecwid'></td></tr></table><div style='text-align: center'><script type="text/javascript" src="http://app.ecwid.com/script.js?333055" charset="utf-8"></script><script type="text/javascript">xAddToBag('productid=3702630');</script></div>
</form></div>

You can see what it looks like on the bottom right side of my site here

it is the advertisement that says crimson kiss cd art

please tell me what I am doing wrong

thx

Also added this question to the ning creators network and now I will see who answers first.

Hi Kim,

I lose track of where we can and cannot add scripts. My guess would have been, we can't add scripts to a Blog. It's for security measures. However, it seems that an Admin should be able to add scripts. And, I tested this as Network Creator on my design site. It worked for me. Any changes on this?

Best Regards,

Jen

Hi Jen,

On the old ning 2.0 I can add on the visual side by doing cntrl and paste and can then paste into a blog so that it all shows up. (with image, and shopping bag)

Not so on a discussion or comment.

I am trying to set up that my site members can post the latest item for sale where ever they are discussing something so that a customer can directly go and buy the product.

At least it can be done in a blog post if nothing else.

Looks like it is the same in 3.0

Thank-you for responding, its kind of pathetic that I can't even get an admin to respond on ning creators and a support ticket is not worth the time and effort.

Hi Kim,

Yeah, looks like a blog post is the best bet. Sorry to hear about the response. I think I know why. This sort of question is probably considered a customization question due to the external code. They would rarely answer those.

I'm glad there is some sort of solution for you. =)

Happy Memorial Day weekend! oops, see you're in Canada. Can't remember if you celebrate. I know Canada Day is around July 1st, right? ;-)

Jen
