Giving NING credit when it's due

I just saw the news about NING offering add-ons and I think this is friggin' awesome.  There really is no other way to put it, imo. Furthermore, I would like to say that their product is shaping up to be numero uno, hands down.

Agree. I can't wait to see if they ever add the add-ons for Directory and Classified!

I keep holding off on a real Directory implementation. I hate the idea of getting it ready the 2nd time, spending all the time and resources, just for Ning to offer an integrated Directory about the time I finish it. =)

Naturally, I'm looking for the best application possible. I already have the secondary forum (the listings). It's not good enough. The Ning Apps are too slow. I want something like php directory, which I own the software. But it has to be fully integrated. At one point I spent a lot of money and time on SOBI Directory under Joomla. I didn't think it was good enough either. I want a fully integrated, self service, paid and free directory listings, with all appropriate fields for each listing. And of course I want all the Directory Categories, and good search, alpha sorts, etc...
