Is it possible to show the entire blog post on the homepage as well as the social sharing buttons?

All of this would take custom code, isn't built-in. The best way to show a great deal of the content of a blog post is to choose "Details" and 2000 characters. On Social sharing, I tried this once for a Client. It was too much for the home page, slowed down the loading time significantly.
