Hi Bill,

You may enjoy this tip:

http://jensocial.com/group/premiumningtipsbyjen/forum/topics/make-inline-status-updates-stand-out-in-activity-feed-add-push-pi

If anything it will probably fuel you with a good idea for other images to make the status updates stand out.

Best Regards,

Jen

Hi Bill,

Because of the way the page is being loaded dynamically, I think you're going to find that an anchor link will not work. That's what I see.

Best,

Jen

Hi Bill,

I took a good look, analyzed it for about 10-15 minutes, and honestly I don't know. I would imagine #1: you need to grab the correct CSS class, and #2: More importantly and difficult, you need to write the javascript to change the header for that page only. So, it's going to take some pretty good coding the way I see it. Maybe SiteSuites will answer. Did you ask TJ of jQueryhelp? He may be able to help.

Let me know if you figure it out, and if something hits me I'll let you know.

Best Regards,

Jen

Hi Bill,
No problem, I will wait. I have an Apprentice who helps with the billing. I will tell her not to send another reminder. I know she sent them out today or yesterday.
Good luck,
Jen

Hi Bill,
Glad everything worked. I didn't approve the last comment, didn't want your email floating on my page.

I sent you a paypal invoice. Thank you for your business.

Keep on with CSS, it just gets better and better, and more fun as you progress with it.

Best Regards,
Jen

Put a space before first bracket, not sure why it showed up that way - - like this:
.xg_widget_main_index_index .module_forum {width: 364px;float: right;font-size:90%;}
.xg_widget_main_index_index .module_forum {height: 500px !important;overflow: auto;}

Wait, I believe I understand. Replace this code:
.module_forum {
width: 364px;
float: right;
font-size:90%;
}

.module_forum {
height: 500px !important;
overflow: auto;
}

with:

.xg_widget_main_index_index .module_forum{width: 364px;float: right;font-size:90%;}
.xg_widget_main_index_index .module_forum{height: 500px !important;overflow: auto;}

Please provide the exact block of code that is causing the issue, and what you want to happen on the home page forum, if that makes sense.
Thanks,
Jen

Edit this code:
.xg_module_head {
background:url(http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x172/billvasko/bar.jpg);
font-size:155%;
border-bottom:1px solid #E1E1E1;
color:#ffffff;

CHANGE TO:
.xg_module_head {
background:url(http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x172/billvasko/bar.jpg) repeat-x scroll 0 0 transparent;
font-size:155%;
border-bottom:1px solid #E1E1E1;
color:#ffffff;

Hi Bill,
I need the code in a pure text file, or there could be hidden characters in the Word doc that can and will wreak havoc on your code.
Thanks,
Jen

Bill,
Do you have a test account I can signin to? Or do I need to create an account? Please send private message.

Hi Bill,
Sure I'll be happy to take a look. My minimum fee is $65. And regular fees are $45 per hour for design, like CSS, and $75 per hour for scripting. I'm bombarded, but this sounds pretty debilitating for your Groups. I'll look soon as I can. Gonna take a quick look right now.
Best,
Jen

Hi Bill,
I just looked and really thought about the video question. There are too many variables for me to add as a tip. I have my video module in wide column at bottom. And my wide column has been switched to far left.
Here's the code that works for me:

/** Widen home page Video Module **/
.xg_widget_main div.module_video {width:955px!important;margin-top:130px;}
.xg_widget_main div.module_video ul.clist li {width:250px!important;}
.xg_widget_main .xg_2col .module_video .body_large ul.clist li {
margin:14px;
padding:15px;
border:1px solid #EAEAEA;
-moz-border-radius:6px 6px 6px 6px;
}
/** End Widen Video Module **/

Best,
Jen
