The Ning App settings are under Manage/Feature Controls:
Place a checkmark by: "Allow members to add Apps to their My Page"

Last i have time to add to this discussion, sorry. But, be cautious. You can no longer create and offer just any script for Ning Networks. It typically breaks their TOS - - bummer. They are only approving Open Social apps these days. If you haven't already, you should check out Developer's network, and learn this process. It could be extremely rewarding.

sorry, what's not clear here? you can't get the scripts. they are not available. they are behind the scenes, no new membership, and no access to the code.

You can't - - absolutely impossible. Ningmods.com has 2 similar scripts, part of their monthly sub for $14.95 per month.

Who's Online and Ranking part of former S4N (Scripts4Ning), sadly no longer available to new membership. Ning took over this 3rd party, and hopefully will add scripts for all in the future. They've made no promises on which scripts or when, though.

I thought that tutorial indicated this new method: you must request webdav access via the ning help center. This was put in place a few months back. It can take quite a while to receive, if ever at this point (I wonder).

Not sure what you mean by anyclient? WebDav is access to your ning server space, period. I hear rumors that it will be removed completely. I sure hope not. This would make my design jobs much more time consuming. WebDav instructions can be found here:

Unless it's something I can add as a tip, I wouldn't be able to teach you something like this. And, that menu could not be added as a tip, too many components. You're gonna have to work for this one, sorry. I research and study everyday, to know how to do the things I do.
If you spend good time on the dynamicdrive site, you will learn sooooo much more.

Don't know the answer to your member page question, other than the main widget xg is: .xg_widget_profiles_members

On changing the URL, you can't, and keep your members. Unless you purchase a domain name, pay premium service to Ning for forwarding, and put the forward domain name in place.
