Hi Tom,
Good post, and sorry I didn't post it. Yes, I've received several emails about potential new members not being able to sign up. And what's worse, I see significant more hits on the sign-up page than members joining. It's a bad deal. Ning needs to do what Ryan said - - something to the effect of "camping out" until this is corrected. Obviously it's been going on for a while. And how more critical does it get, really?

Yes. Very critical. You will see I added a post to the Creators page. I am now is a bit of a panic. How long has it been this way and how many potential new members have we lost....critical is the word. Now I AM still getting a sign up or two every day. But I am thinking, now, that it may be old members coming back from a season out working that had forgotten passwords or something. I am a little ticked off because I am just now finishing a very big promotional campaign on the carnytown network. But I am not mad at ning (just yet)...I am mad at myself for not noticing something was wrong. My visitor count is down by 100 a day from this time last year. I wrote it off to the economy...but...now I am not sure.

Me either - - not sure. I didn't even catch on that there was a problem until I had a Client who received a wonderful News Report or Feature on her network. She was receiving many emails that new members could not sign up.
