It has come to my notice that when I search my website name in google...I get my members profile listed too which I personally would not like to see it and can be treated as privacy issue. I think this matter should be taken seriously if any one else is having this problem. I have no clue about SEO and therefore require advice on how to avoid it......I will share an image for your reference

Also, if any one could advice me on how do I get the results as it can be seen in the picture below.

as the search results seems more organized and provides much more sophisticated navigation. any suggestions, advice is highly appreciated.

Many thanks

Hmm.....
I think you can block the search bots in profiles section

Go to "My Network" > Tools > Search Bots and add this line to the bottom:
Disallow: /profiles/

It may take some time to let your member's profile disappear in search .
If this is not working , please contact Ning , go to their Ning Help and Submit a ticket .

Best of Luck ,
Elson .

The help received so far is awesome and I have done as told to do.....thanks guys..
First, thank you Elson, too smart to believe, you are. ;-) Everyone - - to add to Elson's advice: please keep in mind, anytime you have public pages like a public network, and without using a solution like Elson has offered, Google and other search engines WILL FIND (eventually) and index these pages. This is how your site is indexed by Search Engines. In fact, the /profiles block is not fail proof, but certainly the best way to go. Also keep in mind, once indexed, it takes quite some time for those index pages to be removed from online Search Engines, and some may never be dropped. Bottom line: Anything you enter online short of a secure page (like encrypted transaction pages), you are running the risk of the World finding it. This is the intended nature of the Internet. I read a Discussion on Creators where the suggestion was made for members to use screen names. I agree. This is nice way to protect your name. Did you know that I don't even use my real name here on JenSocial?! Course it's easy to find, cause I own a ton of public domain names, etc... But, it helps keep my private life out of my online work life. Yeah, my name is Jen, and Marco is very close to my last name, but not exact. ;-) On the "sophisticated" links as you call them, those are called
sitelinks. And the fact that you appear to have 3, and don't know about SEO, is great. BTW, I can only tell you about sitelinks, not how to get them. I don't really know, no one does. It's one of those "Goooooooogle" things. When your site comes up in a Google Search, if you have
sitelinks assigned by Google, you will see special links below your domain name/URL. See example image below.
To find out if you have sitelinks, go to:
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ Click on your domain name. Click on Site configuration/Sitelinks Google's description of sitelinks: "Sitelinks are links to a site's interior pages. Not all sites have sitelinks. Google generates these links automatically, but you can remove sitelinks you don't want." Here's an example of JenSocial sitelinks:

Hope this helps, Jen
thanks for the advice......it is always a pleasure to get solutions from jen social and its members...:)
Lol Jen ,

You really are more experienced than i am . Great explanation !

Best of Luck,
Elson.
Well, not real fair for you, since I've been doing this for 30 years, and working on Internet since before it was called the Internet, LOL. So, let's hope that I have more experience. But, doesn't mean I'm the best at everything by far. ;-) You blow me away with the knowledge you've acquired, and so quickly. Truly unbelievable. Keep up the good work Elson.

In fact Elson, I was just telling an online friend about you today, and how you soak knowledge up like a sponge, to say the least. We were discussing the LE and changing the word for "members". When I change the word "members" in LE, I just change them all, and go with trial and error. I wondered if you have more of a formula behind it.
http://jensocial.com/group/helpsupport_eachother_ning_support/forum...

In other words, the way you soak things up, have you noticed what occurrence of the word "member" in the language editor changes the member module on home page, and things like that? Like I said, I change them all. And there are a lot of instances.

Best,
Jen
