Ning Spamware

My Site is called FantasyLand

The url is landoffantasy.ning.com.

The spamware will not let me update the site because of the word fantasy. l can change the name but the address has to stay the same unless l pay for a new url monthly. l can not afford this at this time.

Now if l and my administartor come up with a new name and l change it, what will happen if the spamware still won't let me update because of fantasy being in the url.

Any help from anyone, l thank you.

Wow, not sure what you mean on this one. What spamware? Do you mean you can't access your site? Either way, I'm thinking you need to ask Ning about this via a Support ticket. Because there is no way to change your Ning Network URL without either (1) Starting over, or (2) A redirect like you mentioned above.

Maybe Ning could do something special for you, if you explained the details. But, I'm thinking it's doubtful.

Well each time l go to update information. It will not save. Because at the top it says :

We're Sorry

Our system reserves certain domains and prohibits the use of certain words in the network name, URL, description or taglines in order to prevent violations of our Terms of Service. Either your network name or network address, or both, currently contains such a word. If you think that this is in error, please contact us through the Help Center
