Good question. I notice that Discussion Forum creations and replies show up on JenSocial. But honestly, I've never tested this thoroughly. It's always been odd to me that Forum Discussions are not specifically mentioned under:

My Network/Settings/Features/Activity Feed

They should show for your site, except in two cases, best I can think it through:

Via their Settings/Privacy, I think the option "Add new items" under "Latest Activity" might affect forum discussions showing up in the feed, but not certain. And the same with your site settings under:

My Network/Settings/Features/Activity Feed

Also, if your site is private past the home page, this gets confusing as to what shows on home page Activity Feed. Because, if the home page is public, Google and other bots crawl the page. If Activity is shown from private profile, that would be crawled as well. So thinking, if you are signed out, you would not see some of the Latest Activity.

You might need to write Ning Support for a better explanation, not my strong hat. =)
