I am afraid the question is not detailed enough. Personally I don't understand what you are trying to achieve. Could you be more specific?

Sorry....I know you can use your text box to place ads on your main page and other pages, but can you place ads using the text box that are not present on the main page at all?

There are three types of pages on your Ning account. The main page, the members individual profile pages, and pages you create. If you want to add Adsense ads. Yes, you can add up to three, in the three textboxes that have been provided at the top, bottom and over the tabs, which will appear on every page in your network. As to manually sold advertising, you can also use these boxes for that also, or both. Go to your management area and then features and you will see the options to enable the boxes at the bottom of the various features.

In addition any text box used in the right column top....CAN appear on all pages including manually created pages.

I am following your instructions and will give it a go. I know when newbies like me ask questions it may seem lost with the appropriate lingo, but I do so appreciate the patience and the help that all of you on this great site give to me and others.
