Ok so I bought my domain name today at GoDaddy. Then in domain mapping I set my ning site geekdoms.ning.com to go to geekdoms.com. Now I can't get back to my ning site! I just keep getting the godaddy splash page! Help :(

Hello Geekdoms - how long ago did you update your DNS settings to Ning's supplied servers?
About 30 mins ago. I think I did it wrong though :( I had ning site redirect to .com addy to when ppl type geekdoms.com they will see the site. Was it suppose to be the other way around. So the .com, get redirected to ning?
To compliment my question above - it can take anywhere from 12-48 hours for DNS setting changes to fully propagate around the world.  There is a guide specific to GoDaddy domain mapping available here: http://help.ning.com/cgi-bin/ning.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faq... - have you seen it?
Yes I used that to set it up, then though I click on domain mapping in network settings and clicked the button (relocate to) beside my new domain name. Should I have left it beside the ning address?
Ok I re-read the last step. I think I did it right, just have to wait. Thanks for your help in my panic :)
Yay! It's working, panic over lol!
Yeah its working, but now facebook share is gone:( Will figure it out.
Glad to know it's working for you!  I would try deleting the facebook app and re-making a new one. That worked for me when I had facebook problems.
*you  can always just create a new facebook app without deleting the old one for safety's sake. Just reintegrate your network to the new app and see what happens.
To answer the question, whenever I changed my domain name it made me redo the apps. It's not painless and will work right away.
