Alternatives to NING - Anyone looked at any recently?
I've been using NING for a few years now, I've never seriously considered using something else, but recently I'm starting to wonder if NING is still the best solution out there.
Has anyone tried or assessed the alternatives recently?

Hi Ken,
I've tried SocialGO, Social Engine (you host), Spruz, and several others. I would have to say I prefer Ning out of these. If I were to change I'm pretty convinced I would go with BuddyPress. Ernie knows a lot about it, and has written a nice writeup here:
