I think I may have created that button. If you can compare your paypal form code to mine, feel free to use the image. Be sure to not change your code except the input name="hosted_button_id" and the entire tag for input style. Don't forget to change the alt to your text.

Wow Jen you are something else with your helpfulness. Thank you - I will give it a good go and report back. I am grateful! It is so much more appropriate for what we do than the 'donate' version. Fingers crossed for us :)

Hmmm now you have me started. Where can I find those cool twitter and facebook buttons you have too? I trawled the net but couldnt find anything as good as those. If they are your own work don't worry I dont expect you to share everything. I have found lots of cool things here to use already for which I am extremely grateful as you know.

Hi Pearlz,

If you're referring to the bar in upper right with the 4 buttons, that's available in the premium group. It's only $29.95 a year, with some great premium tips and special support when time allows.

That is great thank you - I am giving that some serious though for sure. Once I have learnt everything around here I will be wanting more I guess. If the others involved in our network agree it will be a must for us I feel.

I just had a look and love the way you have sectioned off a group for you premium group. Is that the system that ning were going to bring in or is that your creation again? Daft question I doubt it is nings but I could be wrong :)

 

As for the buttons no I was referring to the pretty circular ones near the 'contribution' button....I like big and bold but as I said could not find them on the net so assume they are more of your clever creations.

 

Anyway I will be quiet now have asked you way too many questions for one day. Thanks for everything :)

Hi Pearlz,

No problem, I had more time today than usual and happy to help. For buttons similar to those, follow this tip:

and you can also find those icons on iconfinder, which the link and mention is in the tip above.

 

Also, I find that the "Search Tips" icon I have (upper right next to Directory icon) is pretty good about finding tips. I searched on facebook.

Oh, and on the "I just had a look and love the way you have sectioned off a group for you premium group" - - it's just a private group. And once someone subscribes via PayPal, I invite them. It's pretty cumbersome, but it works. And hopefully Ning will enable "paid areas" of our sites in the next 6 months. What I dread is when it's time to renew. That's gonna be fun.

 

I do have special code on the private group page for non-members with a link to subscribe. That code is available in the group as well. ;-)

Wohooooo I did it!!! I have lots of pretty buttons thanks to you and learnt a whole lot along the way. I even made up my own code for one. Thank you sooooo much XOX
