I've looked on the forum and tips pages, but I can't find what I'm looking for. I want to add a sub-tab to my Members tab that only shows Featured Members. Ideally, I'd like to have an advanced search page for Featured Members as well where you can search within the Featured Members on searchable profile questions. Anyone else done this?

Many thanks

Hi David,

I'm not sure about the advanced search - - thinking... Here's the URL you need for your tab, to access Featured Members:

/profiles/friend/listFeatured

Best,

Jen

Thanks Jen. Will this list include "non-friends" as well? I'm going to try it leaving off the "/friend" and see what happens. Really, all I'm trying to do is have a state search function where visitors could find all Featured members in TX or AL or CA or wherever. I've seen the Tip from a member on how to create a state by state directory, and posted a reply asking if this could work within a narrower "featured members" list.

If you leave off the "friends" it won't work. It's just the URL that takes you to Featured Members. It is a little odd.

Best,

Jen

Yeah, found that out. It seems odd also that the only sort options Ning provides are Latest Featured, Alphabetical, and Random. It would be great if they allowed you to customize the sort options.
