About Website
Please Help Missing Children is designed and dedicated to the internet circulation of photo's and information relevant to the search of missing children.
I read your post on the Blog, and broke my heart. Please don't despair, or give up what you've been doing. I was thinking about your particular needs.
Although not a Social Network platform like Ning, I was thinking of something like Shoutem for you. They have "friends", instant tweets to twitter, ability to add code for chat, and even private messaging like IM (I think). Anyhow, just a suggestion on something that might be good for you. Here's their site: http://www.shoutem.com
I wish you all the best on what you are doing and please please please do not let these corporate trolls stop you from being there for children all over the world that need your assistance do not let them win....I don't if this may benefit you but you may try:
http://Webs.com as well as Jen's suggestion below...there are many alternatives... I as a mother feel that you are doing invaluable and important job for the world and for parents just like myself ....whatever you need please feel free to ask me here is a brief description of Webs.com's services:
Can you use MS Word? Then you can use our easy Page Editor to add new pages and enter text, images, videos, widgets and more with our oh so easy-to-use page editor. Drag-n-drop interface makes it a breeze. Create columns, change font size and colors, undo edits and more. Do all the things you're used to doing in a word processor, plus a lot more.
Organize and Share Photos.
Upload your photos into photo albums. Want to pull in photos from PhotoBucket or link to photos on another site? No problem. And friends can upload as well - with your permission, of course. You can crop, recolor, resize and rotate your pics right from your site. Include commenting so your friends and family can share their thoughts!
Communicate through Blogs and Forums.
Create conversations with a blog or forum. You and your members can post your thoughts, plus you can designate members to moderate, monitor and guide the conversation.
I hope you find your way and continue what your doing.....take care and remain strong this only means that there is another better path for you.
