Thank you for adding your Ning Network to the Directory. In order to maximize attention to your Network, when Community Seekers are searching through our Communities - - please change your Member Name to your Network Name: GirlRiders. THIS IS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN MEMBERSHIP. If your personal name and photo are representing your Network, when possible, please add your Professional Title to the end (i.e. Johnny Smith, Musician)! When you change your member name here on the Directory, it should not effect any of your other Ning accounts/networks.

Don't forget to add your Ning Networks to THE LIST. You can add multiple Ning Networks under one member account. Be sure to close Discussion/Listing, if you don't want commenting. Note: Limit 2 Listings per Ning Network.

Hey GirlRiders, just had a look at your site and WOW...looks great!! Obviously I'm being lightly biased as I ride myself, but its COOL to see you guys out together. We could do with more girls riding over here too, and not just 2up!!

Ahh thanks a million GirlRiders, could do with the extra traffic :) We're heading right into the Road racing season now so its all systems go at the mo!

Yeah, lots to do with the site so I have. It just looks so PLAIN compared to yours or others I've seen out there. Where did you get your theme for your network? Did you have it made especially or did you do it yourself? If so, any good URL's out there that you might suggest for making theme pages etc?

I'd very much appreciate that GirlRiders! The theme like yours is a standard one, even though yours doesn't look standard and its something I'd like to do with my own to make it more flashy or something, I cant just put my finger on it. I've actually learnt alot last night from looking at some of the questions you've put out there in the tips section :) So I'm gonna keep lurking for a while and see what other nuggets of knowledge appear :) I will however definitely take you up on your offer to sound some Q's to ya when I get stuck! :-P

Hi there, The so-called proper way, is to place each block of code in DIV tags. But, in a Ning text box, the easiest and cleanest way is to place each block of code in an HTML table, and the table columns. I will attach a text file that contains the table code. Just copy paste your 2 blocks, where I have "block 1 goes here", and "block 2 goes here" Hope this helps, Jen

Thanks, I appreciate it! I've noticed from time to time the Ning platform throws up a secure server URL starting with https. When that happens, you'll receive that error. I'm not sure why this happens. It shouldn't.

Hi Katie!

I want to add a pop up window in my site with a html page with some gif images. I try to make this html page with Word and Excell, creating a table with gif images. But when I save it, the gif images didn't have animation.

Jen told me here to ask you for the template of your great window with smilies. I love it!

Hi Katie, I've tried to copy the code of quick add links to some other place in the main page. But it doesn't work. So I guess they limit to do this in Javascript. Means maybe only the first group of quick add links works. I can't find where they write the code about this in Javascript. There are too many Javascript. Sorry.

I see the ads within my forums. On yours, I only see the placeholder - - which means the script is running fine. For some reason Google isn't serving the ads for you. Do you have PSA turned on? There may not be available ads right now, and Public Service Ads would show if not.
