Hi Joe,
To answer your question:
"How Do I remove The Info Box At The Top Of My Page or How Long Does It Take After I Made My Donation? "
No one can see the box at top, except you. It shows on all profile pages and says the same for everyone. It's just a special way I can leave messages to members. If you go to another member page, you won't see it. In other words, it will not mess up the presentation of your page, when someone else is looking.
I hope that makes sense.
Thank you for your support. It is very much appreciated.
Hi Joe,
I'll try to make it smaller (take up less space), next week. When we first started leaving messages to our members, we all had the ability to click on a link "How others see your page". I honestly don't know what happened to that feature, or why Ning removed it.
Best,
Jen
Thank you for the Valentine and note. I'm fine. My friend actually passed away 2 years ago to Cancer. I was just shocked to hear of her Son's passing, and reminded me just how fragile life really is. For the first time I can say, I am so thankful that my friend went on before us. There is no possible way she could have endured the loss of her Son. He was only 40+, and she adored him.
Thanks for your concern and kind words.
Best to you,
Jen
Thanks Joe. That's because we have a special forum section called Listings, for THE LIST. It's just like a regular Ning Forum, with extra fields. I can't really change any of that - - I don't think.
Am I understanding?
If you add a reply to a Listing on THE LIST, and use the word "forum", it changes the word from "forum" to "listings"? This would actually make sense, since all instances of the word "forum" are replaced with "listings". I wonder how often someone would want to use the word "forum" for a reply?
Not sure I can change a thing, but curious as to what your thoughts are on the topic.
Thanks,
Jen
Hi Joe,
No, I won't be adding anything to the Country Groups. This is why; although I created them, our members run them. I don't think members are paying enough attention to them, but figure - - eventually, they will probably catch on. Beth is the Administrator of the US Group. I can make you an Admin too, if you want.
Best,
Jen
Hi Joe,
First, thank you so much for bringing this huge boo-boo to my attention. I may feel "dense', but I sure appreciate it. I wish I had known a long time ago. ;-)
It will be next week or the next, before I can even think about starting over on this, except the US Group. I'll recreate it sometime today. I'm also going to see if there is anyway Ning could help me out.
I can't remember why I made the groups "request invitation" - - I suppose to keep them clean. Oh yeah, I remember! I did this so everyone wouldn't just start joining them for the heck of it, but because their Ning Network was based in the specific Group Country. For some reason my brain just didn't click that I was making them private for "viewing" too. And, I know this, just didn't hit me.
It took a long time to create the international groups, making sure countries/language were spelled correctly, group description, etc... Plus, I have the drop-down with all the links! LOL!
Anyhow, thanks again and I'll keep you posted.
Best to you,
Jen
Hi Joe, (typo in first comment)
Oh, I see. That's normal Joe. It's not really a redirect, but actually a URL that is sending the identifier parameter for the particular network on list, so they (you) can get credit - - for links in and out. It has to be included in the URL for your pages. But, if a visitor landed on the actual site at: http://ningnetworks.gotop100.com/
and clicked on a share button, it should only pickup the: http://ningnetworks.gotop100.com/
I just wonder why folks do not join the US Group? It's almost like an empty Restaurant. I'm sorry Joe. When I have a minute to breath, maybe I can come up with better way to get members to join.

Shouldn't you explain in your Group main text box, how to add a US Ning Network?
Thanks for all this hard work,
