The Who's Online up top, was part of Scripts4Ning, a 3rd party script vendor - - a subscription service. Ning has partnered with them, and are planning on implementing the scripts over time. Some, like the Birthday script, have already been implemented. The Scripts4Ning scripts are no longer available to new users, until Ning adds to the platform. At that time, they will be free to all. I'm not sure how many of the scripts they will eventually implement.

I agree. Ning is great! Please know that the Ning Directory (here), is a Ning Network, created just like yours. We just chose to embrace Ning Networks, and help promote all of us.

I left a comment on your page, hoping to clear up: we are the Ning Directory, not Ning.com. We saw a need for a Directory - - a list of Ning Networks; A way to search for and find Ning Networks, and a way for the smaller Networks to be found and noticed. The Ning Directory was born. :-)

I know this is probably a stupid question but can anyone please tell me how to delete a member from you Ning? I see how to ban then but I can't figure out how to delete...Please Advise :-)

You cannot delete. You can only ban them. Scripts4Ning offered this, but that script has been discontinued by Ning. I prefer deletion too.

Hi, maybe someone can help me out with were to insert CSS

To hide the header for the 'Ning Directory' from your page, add the following CSS. You must add this CSS to remove the Directory Logo and Description. Click on 'My Page/Theme/Advanced Tab'. Under CSS, add this style: #xg_sitedesc,#xg_sitename { display: none !important; } See 2nd case below.

2nd Case: If the CSS above does not work for you, please test the following code.
#xg_sitedesc,#xg_sitename { display: none !important; } #xg_masthead { height: 200px; min-height: 200px; } You can adjust the height '200', just make sure you change both instances

From your page, locate your profile image (upper left). Under this, click on 'My Page/Appearance/Advanced Tab'. Under CSS, add these styles. I tested these on your page, and this is what worked.

Try this.
#xg_sitename, #xg_sitedesc {display:none!important;}
#xg_masthead {height:200px; min-height:200px!important;}

Can you show me where you got these instructions, so I can update them? Ning has changed the command from "Theme" to "Appearance". That's most likely why you couldn't find it.

Hi Jen,

I recently installed the Wibyia tool bar on both my sites...wow they are just so cool. I didnt know though you had to add the rss code separately first so I went with google to do that. Definetly makes things easier!

I also found via a friend's site this really cool stats widget from Feedjit.com...they have a few really cool tools to help track traffick to your sites. Thanks for the help the past few days Jen!
