NTS's story

Mauri everyone! I am Amota and I created Nareau The Spider network (NTS in short). 'Nareau' is a our vernacular form which is the name of a god - our ancestors believed to have created heaven and earth. It's a mythical story.

NTS is a social networking site where IKiribati, friends and interested people around the globe can get together and share. NTS also aims to display much about Kiribati such as people, faces, voices, culture, language, ideas, issues, news, music, videos, stories, etc.

At the moment, there are just about hundred members registering. Members are not very active but hope that sooner or later more members will sign up and the atmosphere will become more attractive, interactive and rolling.

NTS welcomes any advice and suggestions for improvement and success!

Changes made for far:

1) The name Nareau The Spider has changed to Nareau

2) The platform changed from Ning to Spruz

3) Mission changed as well (expanded) - now it is social for WISHES, CONGRATS, GREETINGS and NEWS.

And another change made!

Very soon and Nareau may be closed down. Spruz platform is no longer free for my region so I will lose my site then.

Because of my interest in websites, I have tried learning some basic html and css codes so I am able to create a simple site of my interest. Now I have created 'Kiribati My Homeland' which is now alive on bravehost free server. I am currently putting more items in it.

Please, I need your comments and suggeestions for the better of the contents. Even criticism are welcomed. Please tell me what you think.
