Make Status Update Share Button Look Like Facebook Share Button

This may be the easiest tip I've ever written, but could give a nice punch. This CSS will style your Status Update "Share Button" to look more like the Facebook Share Button. I believe it was Einstein who said, "People love formulas..." In other words, we like what we're used to seeing.

 

I actually think my red button looked better, LOL. But, this will probably make members feel a little more at home - - it's almost subliminal.

 

Add this code to your Advanced CSS, and your "Share Button" should look more like the Facebook Share Button:

If any of the settings do not take, add the !important; as I did for the font-family. This should override your current settings.

 

This button is slightly different, but close enough. ;-)

The attachment is the tiny slither of an image that is used as part of the button background - - in case you ever need it. Just look for SHARE button on home page of JenSocial, next to "Status Update". I'll also add a screen shot soon.
